Lakeview East renters want bike racks, and get them

Unfortunately, another example of "home made" bike racks not designed by bikers or someone familiar with proper locking. With these hooks, the only way to secure your frame is attaching it to the thin wire of the chain link fence. Easily cut. Had a similar style railing in my building once, and all the bikes were snipped off and loaded into a van. The style the city uses is more expensive, but worth the investment if one wants bikes locked securely.
