  • The Murphys aren't Irish. The Murphys are from Quincy, Massachusetts, USA. They base themselves on Irish folk music.

  • Yes, they are indeed irish, but the bagpipes go well with this video. Plus, the Great Highland Bagpipes, which the Dropkick Murphys use, were invented in Scotland.

  • LOL "If it's not Scottish it's crap." I'm Scottish/Irish Canadian. Some of my ancestors emigrated to Boston, Mass. The D.M.'s play good music :P
