@jchristy89 Actually, I think Beethoven was rather fond of doing this.

@olyrye =( What a sad thing then for you to be a piano technician and wish for the destruction of pianos... I totally understand that bad pianos can be upsetting to deal with (as a pianist), but to throw it out of a window? It is not only dangerous, but for a pianist it is the equivalent of losing a finger... especially if you were attached to the piano at some point.

No.it.just.couldno.WHYYYYYYYYY

A moment of silence. Now, how was this broken beyond repair, BEFORE the video was shot i'm assuming.

yaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

piano from china - 400$
vintage piano - 4000$
dropping a piano out of the window - priceless

That sounds very familiar to me ( looks over to the "broken stuff"-box on the shelf)

nice
As a piano technician I have encountered a number of pianos that I wish I could have done this to! People get so sentimental about old pianos but some of them really are not worth fixing. People who give away junk pianos are just passing on more headache and heartache!
Bravo!

Hi ttay1122,
Reading your comment I assume that you're only thinking about money. I didn't sell it beacause it was broken beyond repair as you could have read in the sidenote. Life is not only about money and I would not sell something which is broken. I think this way of saying goodbye to my wonderfull piano is better than putting it on the corner of the street. For me music is more important than an expensive car and I think you're ignorant to call somebody a dumass without knowing the person.
