@fatboyR6 haha I almost added "don't give me the 'personal preference' bullshit either.." Nah, just the receiver set (upper/lower) is black, I'm going w/ FDE furniture if I get the FDE forend. Thinking about getting new furniture anyways, so that'll give me an excuse. Honestly, I like 'em both about the same, therein lies the fuckin problem lol..
The only benefit I could think of is that FDE might be a little better "camouflaged.."
Mostly I'm just looking for a tie breaker haha

My gen 1 broke, so they sent me a gen two with the "B" stamp. Seems to work better

@ducatiist ....that is cool, cause having to replace the barrel nut is a pain in the butt unless you have all the proper tools. Much easier to remove the delta ring and slip it over the M16 nut. I've seen the Alpha. It's nice. I hope they make a 10" version for my SBR build. The 11" is just a bit to long.

the new alpha TRX doens't even have screws at the bottom. They took that weakpoint out alltogether. PLUS they use a standard milspec barrelnut which is cool.

@Doctorchops ...it's all a personal preference bro. I like it with the NiB upper and all the FDE furniture, but an all black gun with just a FDE rail?

Ordering my spikes tactical tommorrow how long did it take you to get your rifle? And what's the name of that part right in front of the safety selector the tan part next to the bad lever

@Pinggong272 ....congrats on ordering your rifle. I did not buy mine complete. I bought a stripped lower from Spikes at the Miami Gun Show and built it myself. The upper is a Fail Zero with a Daniel Defense barrel, with a Battle Comp brake. The Tan pieces are made by KNS, they are Anti-roll pins. They ride in the trigger and hammer not ride in the aluminum lower. It prevents your trigger holes from wearing out. They also come in black.
