These were the days when Rangers and Aberdeen kept meeting in League Cup finals and they were all classics.
Some excellent players in both teams.

Ref Bob Valentine, the same scrote that cost Rangers the 77 and 89 Scottish cup finals, a Rhat that is often overlooked in his hatred for Rangers.
Still the good guys carried the day and justice was done !

I was at all 3 finals against Rangers 87, 88, 89. We got them finally thanks to Paul Mason in 89!! Great finals and great quality of football.
