  • It's Gorillaz Feel Good Inc (Stanton Warriors Remix). Great remix.

  • very cool! Did you do the "Danceteria" logo animation yourself or was this something that perhaps played on video monitors in the club back in the day that you managed to get your hands on. If the latter is true, how'd you get your hands on it?!?

  • Thanks, DaftSwank. That's a new logo animation. Danceteria is reawakening... We're thinking it would be fun to ask people to make new Danceteria bumpers and animations, maybe with some great reward for the one voted the best. What do you think..?

  • Fun days

  • who is this track by?

  • i second that...really cool. i need some good old house to have a dance party to!

  • I was there the Summer '83. Awesome.

  • Dancereria was ultra hip . The roof was open during the summer , they called it " Wuthering Heights " . The bands they had were good , but let us not forget the other clubs that were happening at that time as well . Peppermint Lounge , The Ritz , Cat Club , Pyramid , A7 and Berlin were all part of the same scene , however , Danceteria was the most diverse of them all .

  • fabulous!

  • As a relative child of the eighties from NYC, I can tell you that Studio 54 was way over by the time the seventies were over; Limelight was only hip for a blip (too big, like the Palladium that arrived a few months afterwards, to stay exclusive for long); Danceteria had a lot of number of different levels, where much else besides dancing too place; and Save the Robots was likewise pretty varied.

  • fantastic!!!
