The description from the program:
The makers of "The Scarlet letter" and "Chinatown: The Musical!" bring you a deeply compelling tale of lust, hope, and redemption. Set in the darkest hours of the French Revolution, the play explores the depths of loneliness and its impact on the human soul.
If you enjoy romance, action, excitement, liveliness, and good acting, this is not the play for you. This is the play for you if you enjoy running your fingernails over chalkboards, acting like a donkey in public, or senior boys wearing dresses. Furthermore, due to the provocative themes originally in the script, the cast and crew of "Phillip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread" have shortened the play to a mere five hours and seventeen minutes, with four sixty-second intermissions interspersed randomly and without warning.
For best viewing experience, we kindly remind that you put on your 3-D glasses at the designated times.
May I ask why the women characters are played by men. They did a horrible job with this. It's sooooo overacted.
