Half Life Uplink Demo (PS2) Gameplay Part 1

This is part one of a two part playthrough of the Half-Life Uplink Demo in the PS2 version of Half-Life.

I'm betting that most people who have played the PS2 port of Half-Life never even knew that the Uplink demo also got a PS2 port.

In order to access the Uplink Demo, you need a copy of Half-Life PS2, and a copy of the Official Playstation Magazine Demo Disk Number 57. The demo disk in question has a WWII American GI on the cover of it, because it has a demo of Medal of Honor: Frontline. If you don't currently own the demo, then you'll have to look on Amazon, Ebay, Or Half for it. That's probably going to be your best bet to find it. None of the Game Stores I know of carry used demo disks from OPM (I've seen a few Jampacks).

I completely forgot about the ability to play the uplink demo on the PS2 until I uploaded a feature on the PS2 port of Half-Life.

For those in Europe who may watch this vid, I have no idea if the Uplink Demo was ever released over there, nor how to access it.

@jackeythedoo Of course these are bad graphics, it's a 2001 graphical update of a game that came out in 1998. As for the Uplink demo, you have to have the exact demo disk I list in the description.

Actually, the PS2 port of Half-Life is quite good. One of the better FPS games on the PS2, really.

at 1:52 there's a door locked with some weapons, there is a secret passage to go there. I don't know if you know it, but when you get crowbar, break soda machine, (try to stand away of it) then you will be able to go in it....

Gearbox made all the expansions for half life including this one. they did a really good job porting the game to the ps2. wish blue shift could also be on it when the DC version was canceled. the game was balls hard tho. i played 1 and then 2 back to back. 2 was way more forgiving hard on 2 is like normal in 1. i still have that demo disc somewhere but never owned the game, just rented it.

how did he played Half-Life: Uplink on PS2? it's simple, load up "Half-Life", go to the "Options" menu and select "Cheat Codes", choose "Enter Cheat" and press the following buttons: Triangle, Square, Left, Right, Circle, X, Up, Down, press start and you'll see the words "Extras", then go back and choose "Extras", after choosing whether or not you want to save, the disc tray of your PS2 will open, close the tray and the game will load up, then choose the "Options" like you would do normally
