I have a friend who studied in one classical conservatory school. I jokingly asked him "Can a piano player jump around, move around, stand up while playing the piano?"

He vehemently answered "NO! It is not allowed by the rule! It is a stupid thing to do."

Then I showed him this majestic video, he was completely silenced. And he said "If you are this guy, you can do anything you want. Because he's very amazing"

Every one of you critics has an experience of being stifled or hyper-criticized or stagnant in the pursuit of your happiness and dreams. Most likely music. Somebody--whether you or your surroundings--has halted you. And it infuriates you. And when you watch people so, so happy on an instrument, and so appreciated, it infuriates you. Because you want that happiness too. But screw all that. Go for it. If you're limited on funds, go as far as you can. You should not be here commenting on youtube.

Keith Jarret's piano music is God's present gift to the World, to the whole mankind... You don't realize you're saying God is a fraud... You have no sense of anything bigger than life... Thelonius Monk is and was just a pianist, a jazz pianist, not bad but just a jazz pianist, maybe genius but nothing more...!
