  • Nice idea, but at $900 per mirror the price point makes no sense. For the amount of work I do indirectly, I would sooner pay my assistant to blow air on the mirror.

Time for the company to rethink their price point on this...OVERPRICED.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the comment. However, reality speaks loudest. Business doign fine, Europeans pay twice that price. The mirror is a big hit. Most populat booth at the Frankfurt dental show. Visit our website.

    thanks

  • So does any one find it worth the price tag and what's the best deal anyone has got on it?

  • to quote my parents after the initial 5sek "900 $ or 2x the price here in europe?"-laugh.

"ideal for dentists who have like 10 well paying patients per day or "fresh, new, young" dentists who like to work with high-tech gear no matter if it's cost-effective or not"

cleaning this mirror for every patient (i assume you don't by like 50 + you are a well "frequented" dentist) = time consuming = money

hope my english makes sense :)

    amazing piece of tech though

  • true, expensive, + i am not a dentist myself (only one in family who isn't a dentist) but my parents e.g. were blown away by the idea, and my task is now to find out more about this dental mirror (where to buy + price)...

and after studying some dental "stuff" catalogues, i am not shocked this hightech mirror costs that much.

+ no wonder this is a big hit, since we talk about dentists... 900 $ is not that much. but again, I can't tell if it's worth it.

    i still can't believe the 15k rpm :)

  • guess that's possible. my first reaction was to shout NO at you quickly, haha. but i suppose the air lines could be small enough to have a send and return air channel in the neck of that thing...

I am more leaning more towards a newly developed hyper-hydro-phobic coating on the glass though. there have been real scrientific advances with such things lately.

  • how does work it?

  • $700? wow

  • Am i right in thinking that the glass in the mirror is actualy rotaring at high speed.?
