The Break and Repair Method is the side project of Matchbox Twenty rhythm guitarist and former drummer, Paul Doucette. Their album Milk the Bee was released September 16, 2008. The group is touring with Matt Nathanson in support of the album.

lyrics:
all her tales from magazines are drying up
and all her words for little girls are losing touch
soul pours out from dumb, blonde mouth
maybe she has never seen how bad it looks
kissing out the syllables with blatant hooks
nothing worse than misplaced doubt,
when life gets beautiful

don't he look so sad but tough in body art?
screaming through distorted voice of broken hearts
well, he's so deep he turns his back
when life gets beautiful

there's nothing for me here now
not that there ever was
so why should I even care enough about it to go on?
with the best part of waking up,
do you want to tell me?

there's nothing for me here now
not that there ever was
so why should i even care
enough about it to go on
with the best part of waking up?
what's the best part of waking up?
well there's nothing for me
there's nothing for me
to do...
there's nothing for me
to do
when life gets beautiful

  • For some reason I have always, ever since the begining of my love affair with MB20, thought Paul Doucette was hot. Seriously. Even with like weird hair or weird hats- I'd tap that.
