  • Hey man, how did you get maschine into pro tools?

Rewire won't pick it up, and maschine by itself will not recognize my interface so I cant use my monitors.

  • hey dogs,

i set up two tracks in PT, one instrument track and one audio track. the instrument track is bussed to the audio track. i then open macshine as a plug in through the instrument track and record-enable the two tracks.

  • Excellent! quick question my friend...can you import a Pro tools instrument plugin into the Maschine? very important for me to know this...i'm getting mine tomorrow! :)

  • Hi surehead, thanks! I haven't tried using PT plug-ins via maschine, but I'm pretty sure you could control them via the midi from the maschine. If that doesn't work you could always sample a sound (e.g. a piano chord) from PT into maschine and then map it across the pads.

  • Without this video I would have never figured out how to get Maschine to work with ProTools. Thanks for the tip, bro - and nice track!

  • Nice work! I like how goes kinda Reggae at the end! I just bought Maschine and am having some trouble with set up. I have a 003 rack and have no idea how to get sound from Maschine to my monitors as the monitors are obviously hooked up to the 003 rack. Plus the sound is distorting when hit a pad! Any help would be AWESOME! Im an amateure you see ;-)

  • i really love this

  • I don't like this at all. Really depressing music

  • I'm using protools with Maschine. Check me out.

  • I wish there was a "like very much" button.

  • Great job man :)

  • @zayemusic its not possible, but you don't need to import them just add the desired plug-in on the audio track your recording maschine too...1.6 will allow you to load VST plugins into maschine, which will be nice....but no protools (digi) plug-ins are VST they are RTAS

  • IM TRYING TO PUT PROTOOLS 8 PLUG INS SOUNDS INTO MASCHINE CAN YOU HELP ME WIT THAT

  • ljs, you said you "opened maschine as a plugin through the instrument track".. how exactly did you do this?
