  • Blue = oxygen deficient

    Red = Oxygen rich

    Pulmonary Artery is Blue because it is leaving the heart but oxygen deficient

    Pulmonary Vein is Red because it is entering the heart and is oxygen rich

    You can't just say blue is veins and red are arteries...it is not accurate.

  • Blood vessels that return blood to the heart are called veins. Blood vessels that transport blood away from the heart are called arteries. RED blood vessels represent oxygen-rich blood and BLUE represents oxygen poor blood. In the lungs, oxygen-RICH blood travels TO the heart in order to be pumped throughout the body. The blood vessels shown in blue are therefore arteries.

  • GOOD VEDIO

  • Arteries take blood away from the heart. Veins carry blood to the heart.

  • But I just watched and noticed her referring to a right and left bronchi. It should be noted that the singular is bronchus.

  • Your choice. Most people use the long I sound, but that's not as close to the way it would have been in Latin. Don't get hung up on pronunciations, there is usually more than one way to pronounce many words.

  • Bronch "i" or key?

  • She is correct
