Year to year the 911 gets better. Porsche gets it right again! Higher engine output, better gas mileage, lower emissions. Plus that TARGA model is soooo sexy. There is no substitute.

even though this isnt hailed as the NEW model and will still be called the 997,
it is still an ALL new car where it count and I think if youre gonna look at an old 997 on the road you're going to see an old car that has been superseded...
i personally really wish porsche would have held out with the new engine and everything until the 998 and just made this a cosmetic update
this car is just to new and to different to be put in the same pot as the old 997

"just" a facelift but the engine is completly new so is the gearbox. More HP and more torque and a much better fuel consumption, better response...

its just a facelift ..
so its not a new model

looks the same cuz its actually still based on the 997, its merely called 997.2 now. Nothing changed much except the brand new PDK, new lights, and new touchscreen navi. everything else were tweaked only slightly

porsche takes the longest it seems to make a new model. to assume this is the 998 or anything 'completely' new is foolish.
what isn't foolish is the fact that porsche did this at a great time. The turbo will get direct injection also and above 510hp....heard this from a porsche salesman.
