Disambiguation was a shit but this song sounds great. I like the 2004-2006 Underoath, but the group has change a lot since then. Yes! I have hope in this song!
Just throwing this out there to the people arguing. I'm not sure how ABR became comparable to Underoath. I don't even understand how you could start comparing how ABR uses 'complicated time signature changes' to Underoath's style. They are both completely different from each other. That's like comparing PTH to AFI....stupid. Pointless.
@videogamer65 Spencer's 'screams' are unique because he isn't aiming for a raspy, metal sound. He aims to be more clear with his lyrics than metal bands that mask most of their lyrics with harsher growls or screams.
@AndThenCameThenC - I'm sorry, but you're retarded. It takes more skill, technique and practice to play fast riffs than to tune your guitar and pump out a few songs. If you were going to argue in defense of Underoath, you could just note the difference between smashing drums and shredding guitars, and making music with body and form. Underoath has a unique sound amongst most, 'metal/post-hardcore' or whatever the fuck you want to call it, bands.
So They record with Tooth And Nail and They can't get a mic for a video blog?? XD

I enjoy both, but I do love Spencer's sound.

@danutd94 there's no need to disrespect Dallas. There wouldn't be an Underoath if it wasn't for him
