i cant even think of hitting a child under 3 ! what ever happend to using WORDS, and telling your childing what they did wrong? hitting a toddler only teaches them that violence is okay ! no wonder so many children can't communicate properly, their parents are too busy spanking them !

When people weren't so carebear about the "Spank leads to low IQ/abuse" crap, children used to be way more respectful to parents. Now a lot of children are just fucking morons because their parents are too afraid of giving him a good spanking because of those stupids hippies. The new generation turned out to be a bunch of lazy and ignorant assholes thanks to those "Please, talk to your children and you won't going to have to spank him n_n"

@Stephie2007 The thing is looking into what lead to the spanking, how often was it, and how effective was it. If you got a spanking for no reason at all, then that's abuse, and should be reported. I'm not perfect neither. I did things that if I was to do as an adult, I'd be in jail right now, if I didn't learn right from wrong through spanking. I'm a better person because of it. If you're plagued by these acts that bad, then maybe you received too much, to the point of abuse.

@smokintheblaze so what? i was spanked as a kid too and I'm currently out of a job due to my depression problems which resulted from being hit. Also my father still belittles me because to him i'm defective and not "perfect". i just want to live a simple life without fear and get a decent job with decent pay so i don't have to live off of 'hand outs' for the rest of my life but how is that possible when i have so many bad thoughts and memories plauging me left and right?

Dont worry about it. I think alot of people who hate hearing about others and thier achievements get mad becuase they hate what others are doing. i had a kid once say to me that he would rather be at des then be an ediot like my husband and be in the army. I said "ok, so your at des while i have tri care for my children. lol. but thats just an example of dumb and confusing some people can be.
