You don't find women of rock like Joan Jett or Pat Benatar in today's rock. Today's women don't sing and play a guitar like women of rock use to. Classic rock say's something and today's music they throw in whatever word rhymes with another

I agree I love them both more Joan than Pat. But I hope that Lzzy Hale and Maria Brink can be close to being as good as Joan and Pat. But that is a wishful dream.

I agree what what everyone is saying, but keep a little perspective here. Back in the 70's and 80's when we were rocking out our parents where saying the same thing about THEIR musicians from their generation and a few decades from now today's kids will be bad mouthing their kids' music and talking how great today's musicians are. There's always good music along with bubble gum crap and every generation likes to circle jerk themselves and feel sooo superior about the music they listened to.

Pah! I was part of the music scene in the 70's and 80's - you didn't have to look far for anyone who wanted to PLAY real music. Todays' music is nothing more than makeup, plastic surgery and ALOT of hair weaving going on. Gimme a break. No one plays an instrument anymore on levels of LIVE entertainment. Back up bands and musicians get paid by the hour now and the hype doesn't even fit the billing anymore.

my grandkids go nuts over this and start dancing. They have no clue that the song is almost 25 years old. On the same token, play something of today and they want nothing to do with it.
