This video demonstrates how to use Sonic Irrigation as a means for cleaning hollow/rigid surgical devices which would otherwise be improperly cleaned using a conventional ultrasonic bath, despite the presence of ultrasonic activity. The only successful solution to this problem is to combine this ultrasonic energy with a flushing system. This ensures that a cleaning solution, and therefore a medium for the ultrasonics to pass through, is present INSIDE the instrument. Without this combination, the instrument would remain dirty and therefore unsafe for further reprocessing and re-use. Medisafe International are world leaders in medical device reprocessing.
