Les quatre photos finales, si émouvantes, m'ont décidée à réaliser ce montage sur un thème que je n'aborde pas habituellement : la guerre... Mais parler de l'Afghanistan sans d'abord évoquer "le Lion du Panchir" aurait été une grave lacune. Ce Lion est donc très présent au début du clip. Admiration et affection pour ce grand homme lâchement assassiné...

Pour mémoire : 3 avril 2001 - Alain Madelin, qui à plusieurs reprises s'est rendu en Afghanistan soutenir le commandant Massoud dans sa lutte contre le régime des Talibans, demande instamment à ce que Jacques Chirac reçoive le Commandant Massoud, de passage en France cette semaine. Massoud sera reçu à la sauvette par Hubert Védrine (voir à ce sujet le commentaire de "bolbolak1")

Le minimum. En 2003, la Poste française alors sous la tutelle du ministre de l'Industrie, Nicole Fontaine, a émis un timbre-poste à son effigie que l'on voit ici.

C'est Christophe de Ponfilly [1951-16 mai 2006] qui apparaît avec Massoud au début du clip. Il est l'auteur du documentaire "Massoud l'Afghan" sorti en 1998.

God bless Massoud - a truly visionary afghan. A warrior against the evil USSR, then the Taliban. Killed by Al-quadea shortly after 9/11....
