  • nice idea that these kits are so light, you'll need it using no fuel!! but for hobby value i think it sucks ass as a build project the kit is mostly complete when you buy it. not bad having a kit that would require no instructions lol. should label these as "kits for the unskilled" lol atleast polystyrene is cheap.

  • @tasilbhurn Good point know what you mean Thanks for commenting

  • Greetings from Northern CA! Thanks for this info, Tinkerman! I just got my T-38 and am painting it before assembly in the 9SWR colors at Beale AFB - all black w/red markings. This is my first EDF jet. My first RC is a SuperCub LP. Really enjoy all your videos!!

  • Sorry to hear that your maiden did not go well, Hope she can be repaired. One thing I would like to point out is, after the wings are glued you can fill in the gaps with CA Glue for added Strength I have build 2 of these birds and never had a wing fail .. Hmmm GL TIm

  • Guess what! I maidened my Talon yesterday with out adding any strength to the wing route (big mistake) All went well for the first few minutes then as it was cruising high up straight into the sunset the right wing came of! It rolled to the right over and over again and straight down nose first into the ground, Although its not written of I'm still seriously gutted : ( . Lesson learned !

  • Great question. The plane is very light 1 pound 13 oz ready to fly. I have flown it hard with no issues. That being said, if you chose to ad cf rod try and install a small one through the fuselage and onto the wings.. It will not hurt being in the air stream.. GL Tim

  • It looks like the wing on this model could fold quite easy, any ideas on how to secure it more to the fuse? I have already added cf rod to each wing but cant decide on how to reinforce the route???
