Just because they are Christians doesn't mean they have to do mainly Christian songs. Bono is a Christian and he doesn't write Christian music. Switchfoot is also a band of Christians but they stated in an interview that they don't want to have their music directed just towards the Christian crowds but they also want to reach nonChristians. They aren't a secular band but they preach about Christ and how he died saving us.

You don't have to be a Christian band because everyone is Christian.

so, i must say that I don't think that there is anything wrong with the type of music they sing, but i would be nice if they were a little more outspoken about their faith. I'm not saying that they need to be all like "Jesus is the way!" at their concerts, but maybe when they win an award at award shows thanking God, or saying God bless at the end of their concerts.

@Griffinltd i know that God does not love them more than you, me, or anyone else..God gives everyone different talents and blesses us all in different ways..when it comes to there being no God, I know there is one. I have seen God continue to bless me and others around me. With everything that happens, he has a reason behind it. We may not understand it, but thats how he works. I have seen him work through the good and bad situations in my life.

My point was essentially that God loves them a lot more than he loves you. Why else would they be to thank him for their perfect lives?

In the US religion is used as a reason why gay marriage should not be leagal, and a huge part of the argumentation is that its not christian. WTF? What if the two people are not religious? then their life is stil negativly influenced by religion, and that is simply wrong!
