@rutaloot words cannot express how much i agree.
the music is more than the image, but that's exactly what those people want.
ditto.

this is so similar yet different to the other version. it's really good. it's a little clearer but it's still really raw. i love the clash. i wish my generation would wake up and ditch kesha and beiber for something real, like the clash. i'm only 18 but i love the clash more than my dad ever did. i have all the albums and dad has a few on vinyl i think. the clash are my heroes, i wish i had the chance to see them live.

@meandvmarsequalsno1 am 18 too started listening to The Clash when I was about 13!....try listening to some of the artists that influenced them or that they liked that's what I started doing and I swear it opened me up to a world of music I had never even heard of...Jamaican ska/rocksteady/reggae, old school funk, French pop rock, folk music, African rock with some of the coolest guitar work out there, etc. etc.

@rutaloot i've listened to some that influenced them, but not a lot. i love ska/rock steady, French pop rock & folk!
white man in hammersmith palais is one of my favourites, because of the reggae etc.
all the people i know (who i'm not really friends with) only say that they like the clash cos it's cool, but they wouldn't know about the reggae influences etc. it's nice to see that someone other than myself, at my age, likes the clash for their music, not for status. clash city rockers rock!

@meandvmarsequalsno1 yep not very many people out there who actually get what their music was about or the deep messages and influences that is inside all of it. I think the majority of people just listen to it because they want to appear as being "cool" and rebellious not because they actually enjoy the music
