IT IS FAR WORSE TO TURN A DEAF EAR TO FALSE TEACHINGS AND CONDONE THE FALSE TEACHER BY LYING ABOUT HIM BEING A 'BROTHER' IN CHRIST, THAN TO EXPOSE FALSE TEACHERS FOR WHO THEY ARE - THE ONLY 'STRIFE' HERE, IS YOU ARE DEFENDING EVIL. I DID PRAY FOR HIM, DID YOU?

There are more scriptures about that too.
It's much worse to be judged for creating strife and arguments and calling names, not being loving in general. Do you think God's arm is too short to save? If not, why are you not praying for this soul that you think is on the wrong path?

@jehovahuponyou Some call it the two hand approach. One position on this, which I'd disagree with, is that God reaches to us to the degree where we'd be able to grasp his hand. The second, which I see as more reasonable, is that God enlivens us to be able to choose him. Not sure if either is true.
I will also say that all good in this world is either directly or indirectly from God. As such I would say his spirit's working through us can/us allowing him to can affect others.

@steveoho Fair enough Steve, all I can encourage you to do is to ask God to help you to be the very best for Him that you can be, so that all of your ways please Him and you can look back on your life, when you stand before Him at the end of it and be truly satisfied with the way you lived it.

@jehovahuponyou I, or any other man, can't save anyone. Only Jesus can.
I was only saying that please don't be mean. It's not how Jesus wants us to be. We're supposed to love even our enemies! Even those that want to harm us. Please don't use profanity, that's one of God's precious children you're talking about.
And God is in charge, please pray for wisdom for John if you think he's on the wrong path.

I have seen people in the mental hospital I used to work at act JUST like this. nonsensical noises and chatter....etc...
