How the TARDIS really works...

I built this replica about 2 years ago - and badly in need of some attention, it was leaning over to the left.

So we stripped it down, re-levelled it and fitted with some better bolts.

It takes about 45 minutes to put the pieces together.

It's a bit of a mixture of the season 18 and 1996 movie police boxes. I started the project before the new series came out, and so it does not resemble the new wider model.

@Jamesv223 : That's how the TARDIS prop really works - They film the space, then 3 guys show up with a truck and assemble it. Then they film it again. Doctor Who is, unfortunately, just a work of fiction, not fact.

What series/season did you get that Landing soundeffect from?

@JemmetGK I think I concocted that sound effect myself - the first part is the Patrick Troughton landing sound, then it's grafted on to the standard Tom Baker sound that I think they still use in the post-2005 series.
