  • @goestyou As if your any better. so STFU.. Give the guy credit for what he is doing. Its not easy to come back like that and even though he got 6th place, its a big achievement.. A true sportsman/woman knows what i mean and clearly your not!!!

  • I like Thorpe. I'd like to see him win a medal in London. I hope he gets in good enough shape to contend with Phelps and Lochte in the 200m freestyle.

  • @sdh106 i think biedermann will be his problem

  • Dunno why, but Ian grows sexier as he ages.

  • i get the feeling thorpes still got something left in the tank....

  • @samuelflower Most of the entire worldwide swimming community want to see the Thorpedo make a successful comeback. Call us nostalgic, but those were the best days of swimming, before the suit era left most world records virtually untouchable. Thorpe was the man in 2000 and 2004, some of us want him to succeed just so we can remember past greatness. True we should give the young guys a chance, but if Thorpe is competitive by the Australian olympic trials, why not let him go for it?

  • @Astray418 Ye, okay.

  • @Astray418 and how old are u?

  • thorpe, u r AWESOME. i love ur IM time. i train everyday and my best time is 1.15

  • @samuelflower I'm American and I LOVE seeing Thorpe competing again.

  • @Hem4fiction On the contrary, you begin to lose speed/endurance at around 30 years of age. Muscles just lose their elasticity and can't exert the same force. Still though, he's impressive!
