MODIS HA HA HA SOFTWARE DEVELOPED IN 1992 NOOB. HAVE GENISIS WORKS FINE FOR 6 YEARS DID UPDATES NO PROBLEMS. DID JUST BUY A LAUNCH AND ITS VERY SLOW BUT REALLY DOES ALMOST EVEYTHING OEM INCLUDING KEY AND MODULE REPROGRAMING

you are lucky you purchased the classic. I ordered an evo 4.0 6 weeks ago and it crashes every time I use it. I have had no luck trying to return it and OTC does not care about the purchaser at all, they just want to sell you a crappy tool and take your money.And they don't tell you the battery in an evo goes dead in three days with the power OFF. That is how it was designed B.S. beware of OTC empty promises.

That thing is a piece of shit many times it wont even comunicate with a vehicle. I have a snap on modis and it is ten times better.

I mean a $20 Dollar HF tool can read codes as well. Without pressing so many buttons.

so 5 months into owning this how is it?? I just ordered a 3618 scan and scope Genisys today. I already have a Matco Determinator with older software and found it very useful for as limited as it was and I believe the new one will pay for itself in a few moths tops due to it's increased capability.
