  • @mwethereld Thanks Mike. That was certainly a fun QSO that night. I ended up chatting with VK2FPWE for quite a while after, we worked each other a few times on the band before. 73, hope to catch you on the air soon!

  • Absolutely smitten for 10w! The bad was great all day and even better that night. I was over driving the processor, and have dialled it all down now, the audio out is much better. I had about 6 hits on QRZ after this, obviously people doubt my callsign! Love it!

The Dipole receives very very well for me. I hit Seattle Washington on QRP last week. I dont have anywhere near as much noise as this at Fernvale. Cheers Scott, and Craig,,,, 73's and see you on air. VK4FAKE

  • @vk3crg No worries Craig. How is the new rig going? Look forward to a video!

  • Well done Scott! Great to meet you and the other guys on air today - now that I have a HF antenna and a proper shack, I'll be hitting the airwaves a lot more than I used to while living in a dog box apartment! Look forward to chatting to you again soon. It's quite weird to hear your own voice off-air and I really appreciate the video, 73, Craig VK3CRG
