Peggy Noonan is a hack liar. Listen to her with the camera off, when she told Chuck Todd at the RNC that Palin was a lightweight and that the GOP was going to lose the election because choosing her was choosing style over substance. Of course, with the camera on, she lied, lied, lied straight to every single American's face. But she kept to the script, didn't she?

But who can blame her? Republicans lie.

yes, it is quite perplexing.
After about the 2nd or 3rd week of John McCain parading her around it pretty much became aparent to me he did it as a tactic. What is frightening is that he almost pulled it off. If she'd kept her mouth shut and didn't have to debate anyone, I think she'd probably would have won just on good looks and youth.

To the people who idolize her, intelligence is not a highly valued thing. If forced to make a choice they'd probably rather revel in ignorance.

It explains how they embraced Bush, who, while not a complete moron, was clearly intellectually incurious.

From what I gathered, Joe Biden went easy on Sarah Palin because she is a dudette. He thought she was cute, and smiled all through the debate. He's male. This video is wrong. Had the dudette been a dude in the same situation, he would have eaten him alive.

That's my take.

I haven't seen the debate in a little while, but I can guarantee you one thing from the two times that I did see the debate... Peggy Noonan is not only wrong on this one, but Peggy's got issues!
