This is the follow up video about the Pandora controls, this time it's the nubs.

I own the N64 games shown in this video.

Sorry the video is a little hacked together, I have to send these Pandora consoles to devs tomorrow and I wanted to get this video finished tonight.

  • The nubs are not unique any more. Nintendo copied it with their "slide-pad" or maybe they just had the same idea at the same time.

I have already ordered my Pandora w0ot! I'll get it in January!

  • @syst3m08 If Half-Life is an x86 binary then unfortunately you would have to run it in a virtual machine here. (The OpenPandora has an ARM-type processor, and so the instructions in a Windows Executable cannot be directly executed on the OpenPandora>)

But it looks like Half-Life will mostly run under Linux right now:

  • I will be getting one of these once they re-release. Does anyone know if the Project 64 emulator will run on Pandora? And what is/will be the price for this to buy in the UK? Many Thanks.

  • @syst3m08 Closed source software is pretty much impossible to port.

  • @syst3m08 does closed source mean anything to you?

  • @ArsonistInUrFirewall

Both Pandora and 3DS copied the PSP sliding anolog.

  • This console looks really cool and well designed. I'm interested in owning one.

  • @handofstand np and thanks this thing looks sweet thanks a lot man

  • @JopeSane second batch:

    icontrolpad . com / pandoraprivate . html

  • @davetrap Some games are not emulated properly because they were made to work even this well by studying, from the outside, how a N64 works.

  • @ENGLANDTHEGREATEST Linux is 20 years old

but here it is on my Dell laptop I bought just 6 months ago new.

    So...

  • @Roelvvv
