What gets me about this performance is what a perfect homage it is to the original from Electric Ladyland: FM hits all of the best Hendrix riffs right on, and then does whatever he wants with it besides. Hendrix being my favorite all around guitarist right there with Blackmore and page, this guy here is more a technical man than any of the above. Tech isn't everything, but it helps. Yeah, I know you know nothings who are wanna be musicians think it is "feeling". No such thing. I have been playing for over 40 years and though feeling NOW comes into play, if you don't have the chops it will STILL sound like shit. Chops first, skill first, then the feeling comes. That is inside already.
