Filmed by Pieter de Rooij, August 17th, 2010, Beethovensaal in Hannover. Valentina Lisitsa rehearses Chopin Etude Op.25, No.12 in C minor. She recorded the complete set of Chopin's 24 Etudes for a new cd album on August 18th and 19th at the same location.
Simply superb playing here by Valentina during this rehearsal :) Enjoy!

I think this version is better than the one from the Chopin Etudes DVD. It's a tid bit slower and doesn't sound as rushed. This was absolutely beautiful!

I've said it before and I will keep saying it, Valentina will go down in history as one of the greatest female pianist ever. My only complaint is that she got most of the talent that was supposed to be coming to me.
