  • Do you build steam engines too?

  • @mechanicsnut "Horizontal Steam Pump manufactured by Evans & Co for pumping creosote at the Thomas Ness tar distillery in Caerphilly. With the steam cylinder and pump cylinder opposite each other and connected by a yoke the need for a crosshead is eliminated, making the engine simple and compact." extract from our guide book, if you want more details do email us, we would be happy to help. steamteam (@) wzlet.org

  • If you wish to contact the museum, email them at steamteam (at) wzlet.org

  • Got some techno going there at 3:55 :o)...interesting sounds there!

  • @harry4468 Oh, OK. I just might look into that, and I may build a model engine based on that design. Thanks.
