The earthquake i nhaita wasnt bigger, Haiti is way much more poor than chile so the construction materials are very bad, in chile what saved our asses was the contruction materials, what @2hAfk says is , that part of chile (south) it's really old, not poor, It very old so the contruction materials are........ Not good.
Actually we are the second country with best buildings.
and we are the first economy in south america, so SHUT THE FUCK UP (:
