no sunlight, no rain, don't carry it in your hand.. basically don't use the bag is the only way to "take care of it".. seems like a waste

not rubbing if raindrops on the leather, it helps for me..the stain disappears and you see nothing more..just wipe the raindrops from the canvas.:) hope it works??

how do you clean your LV bag?

I don't like that patina look either. Those purses are too expensive to be changing like that not ok.

Thank you from the UK

And yes I have Louis Vuitton, and the older they get the more exclusive and vintage they look

The whole point of the bright leather is for it to get patina... Sorry to say, but if you run around with your dust bag to prevent it from getting water on it, you need to buy other bags - or buy a damier with brown or black leather... I would be embarrassed to carry a bag and not even carrying it with style..

oh my god. i thought i was the only one who hated the oxidizing leather. it sucks!! I want my bags to always look new. otherwise ppl think that you can't afford a new one.
thats not your wrist...

@djforyou2 I meant my forearm sorry, I will punch myself in the eye for this unacceptable mistake in choice of words.

love your bag and makeup, but do you know what i could do for an in stain on my speedy? the part which attatches the handle got a big ink splatter after having it for like 2 weeks. so sad. :( and is it just me or does your vanchetta turn black whenever you wear black? its so annoying! :(

@emilycampbell69 You didn't wash the black shirt/dress after you bought it before first wearing it did you. I always wash colored shirts in warm water when I first buy them. As far as the ink stain goes...I really don't know what to tell ya to be honest. I would think there is no way to remove it without damaging/darkening the vaschetta.

@sepauysa Canvas doesn't oxidize, probably just darkens with age or needs to cleaned.
