Sampooran Singh Kalra (Punjabi: ਸਾਮਪੁਰਾਨ ਸਿਨਗਹ ਕਾਲਰਾ, Hindi: संपूरण सिंह कालरा, Punjabi: سمپورن سنگھ کالرا, born 18 August 1936), better known by his pen name Gulzar (Punjabi: ਗੁਲਜ਼ਾਰ, Hindi: गुलज़ार, Punjabi: گُلزار), is an Indian poet, lyricist and director.[1] Gulzaar saab, as he is affectionately known, primarily works in Hindi-Urdu. He also works in Punjabi, several dialects of Hindi like braj bhasha, khadi boli, Haryanvi and Marwari.

As a lyricist, Gulzar is best known for his association with the music directors Rahul Dev Burman

Gulzar had leftist leanings (from an Indian perspective[citation needed]) in his early days that can be seen from his early movies (as director) like Mere Apne (translated as 'My dear ones'). His film Aandhi is an oblique criticism of Indian polity, and was banned for a time because it was seen as a criticism of Indira Gandhi for the imposition of the emergency. He also depicted a flair for adapting stories/concepts from literature as well as from other films. Angoor ("Grapes") is based on Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, and Mausam ("Weather") is an adaptation of A.J. Cronin's The Judas Tree. Gulzar also adapted the Hollywood classic The Sound of Music into Parichay. He directed an eponymous Television serial on Mirza Ghalib starring Naseeruddin Shah shown on Indian Television Channel Doordarshan in 1988. Gulzar also worked, as a song writer or dialogue writer for several Doordarshan programs for kids such as Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Guchche and Potli Baba Ki together with Vishal Bharadwaj.

Gulzar has developed a new style of writing poems called Triveni which comprises stanzas comprising three lines rhyming with each other. His private album "Koi Baat Chale" with Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh has all the songs written in Triveni.

The name of his daughter means a Kiss -Bosky.In Sikhism if one dedicates life to service of the Taqt Akali ,then one takes Amrit from Gurudwara-which is called Amrit Chakan or elixir tasting,and such Sikhs can die for their religion.
But the rule followed is that such Sikhs cannot "kiss" a woman and thus they treat all relationships secondary to religion ,destroying intimacy with a woman.Same is the case with fanatic Islam in which women are treated as objects of sin.

That is why a woman's mouth is treated in derogatory manner as it is not fit to be kissed.

But for Hindus you do not piss in the mouth that you would live and love to kiss ,kiss ande kiss.

A kiss is also treated as betrayal by some Christians as Judas kissed Jesus and betrayed him.But what people do not know is that Jesus himself told Judas to betray him as otherwise all the disciples of Jesus would have been killed in Pilates quest to know who Jesus was?

The true betrayer of Christ was "Doubting Thomas "who rules the Church of England and came to India through the Syrian Church with the symbol of Red Cross in Kerala Malabar Coast in 52 AD.Doubting Thomas is so called because he did not believe in the

"Resurrection of Christ on the Third day as God " -for which Easter is celebrated and is the religion of Americans.
The story of Maya Memsaheb is the quest of a woman to explore her sexuality in the midst of betrayal by her man in Government job where she cannot work due to postings every three years and she is discarded like a piece of rag to be exploited by servants ,when she grows older.The servant in this movie has blue eyes of the Church of England and the elixir is Amrit of Sikhism and Islam which in the end destroys all the woman's knowledge and aristocracy in a river where she meets an unknown death known only to her servant.
This is the story of Maya Memsaheb which has been there since the time of Britishers and who inspite of occupants of Frogmore House the Mounting Bat ons ,never let India achieve its "Tryst with destiny" due to its control over the Bureaucratic selections and the economics of India through the Common Wealth -appropriately so named.

The heroes all wear overcoats ,depicting the army and the police whose sexual lives are dustbinned to destroy them mentally through psychological terrorism and who cannot afford to keep another woman.

Gulzar is married to actress Raakhee.When a Hindu traitor deceives his lawfully wedded wife dust binning her life ,he makes her his mother asper Islam[later killers of medical Syrian Arya Cobbler Samaj) and celebrates Bhai Duuj in which his sister protects him instead of his karvachauth wife whom he has betrayed and that is the whole story of Abraham,Sara,Hagar,Azamgarh and Organized crime of Bhai Log of India and the Common Wealth .
