The running hook can be used by any player, any position/ size. With post-up position, turn your hips to the side you wish to shoot with (ie, right hand of left hand), take one dribble, two steps and finish over your head.

  • Dre, what's your advice for aiming this shot. I'm kinda inconsistent with it. I know I need more repetition, but I was wondering where you aim/look when you go up for the shot. Since you're sliding sideways and rotating, do you still aim at the rim/square on the board? or do you go off to the side or something?
