Gore Vidal Interview

Noted author and political commentator Gore Vidal is a member of the advisory board of the World Can't Wait organization, which demands the impeachment of George W. Bush, and charges his administration with crimes against humanity. Vidal discusses the damage caused by the current and former Bush regimes, from bankrupting the economy to waging unlawful imperialist wars for militarist/corporate gain. Vidal is strongly critical of the current George W. Bush regime, as he has been of previous U.S. administrations, with their explicit (or implicit) expansionist agenda. In this interview Vidal outlines his belief that Americans "are now governed by a junta of Oil-Pentagon men . . . both Bushes, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and so on."

Mr. Vidal is probably one of the last truly great thinkers of this century. He is far too intelligent to be popular or electible to any office. His views are considered radical and self-serving. He speaks the truth and most don't want to deal with that.

Truly a great, complex, and illusive mind. I dont think we'll ever understand all that this man says. Still, he offers the most radical version of the concerns felt by the 70% of us who DONT FEEL SAFE with the current administration.
