We don't know that there wasn't, for example, another universe perhaps with different laws of being, which this universe replaced or displaced. And that neatly eliminates the neccessity of an 'intelligent supernatural' cause right there.

NATURAL SELECTION DOESN'T CREATE. It can only "select" from what is produced that has survival value. It only operates once there is life and reproduction and not before, so it couldn't be involved in life's origins. Natural selection is a passive process, not a creative process. @normalais God still cares about the living beings He has made. It would be against His nature to destroy Satan. After the judgement day Satan and all of his followers and evil spirits will be put in Hell forever as punishment. God tells us Affliction will not rise up the second time.

@normalais It is pretty simple. God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil but they did, it is not hard to understand don't eat from it. This is also a simple concept but people choose not to listen to God. Genesis 3:17 says Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you shall not eat of it: Cursed is the ground for your sake, in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

@normalais Good people aren't sent to be tortured. All of creation was cursed when sin was brought into the world. None of us are Holy, God is. What a man considers a "good" person is still a sinner. God has forgiven us. To avoid punishment all we have to do is believe Jesus Christ died for our sins. Since He is Holy, He will forgive us. faith in Him is the only way to avoid Hell. People who choose not to believe choose Hell for themselves, God didn't make them go, he gave us a will to choose.
