The Parallel

A short film about a boy who gets visions from a strange parallel world where he finds something terrible is happening.



Synopsis:
A boy during class falls asleep and sees in his dream a boy tied up in the woods. He wakes up to find his class is gone, he looks around for other people outside but cant see anyone, he is alone. Soon he spots another boy walking along a nearby path. Curious, he follows the boy into a tree line. In the trees he spots the same boy and another boy attacking the person he saw in his dream. As he moves forward he steps on a twig causing the two boys to look around. They strangely do not see him. In panic, the boy runs away only to awake again, this time in class as normal. Confused and disorientated the boy rushes out of class to find out what's happening. On his way to the tree line he stops and notices the two boys he saw walk out of the trees. He runs inside and spots the boy from the dream and unties him. Finally he then has another vision of the boy, this time looking directly at him.
The nature of The Parallel is that it is an extra spatial dimension parallel to ours. The dimensions sometimes merge randomly, sometimes simple things like the sound of a twig snapping can be heard between dimensions and sometimes people can cross between the dimensions.

you know what, at the end if he went to the woods and it ended up being him that was beaten up in a strange twist, almost predicting the futre for himself..that woulda been cool.
