You got me back into playing again after 15 years. Thank you for the inspiration

Man. what a beautiful player - and holy cow. 85 yrs old! - I'm 80, & have been lucky enough to have seen & heard in person some of the greatest sax players, including Dexter, Bird, Rollins, Wardell Gray, Sonny Stitt and others, and I say with all confidence, this man could get up on the stand with any one of them. On some other posts it is stated that his name is A.J.Graves? is that right? - whatever, there should be some c.d's out there for us believers. Please keep posting!

Unbelievable, this guy is 87!? Super sound, great improvisation, would like to hear him with one of his bands. Listening to him gives me great inspiration to work daily on my tenorsax as well. Jazzfan16

I was captivated by this musician. He has an excellent sense of time and a personal approach to the music that assures the soul of its validity. I will buy his CDs whenever available and would love to go to wherever he performs. May he be blessed.

Love the Sax - Hate the Shorts
If your dad's performance is available in CDs or DVDs, let us know where to find them.

It's a pity he hasn't released any CD. But just the same, every time I watch your videos (which means everyday) I want to say, "What a dad you have!" He doesn't look like a very sociable man, but I see an inexhaustible fountain of emotions deep inside. Ask him to play for us Harry Warren's 1942 classic, "There will never be another you" next time.

Yes,I will ask him to play that song next time I shoot the new videos, and he is a working musician. He plays in about 3 or 4 different bands about every other week, not bad for being born in 1924!
