Studio Series: On The Spot

John Malashock invites you into the private world of artistic trial and error as he begins creating choreography for The Floating World. These clips show the process of John creating choreography, the dancers copying it, and John forming it into the dance.

The Floating World: A multimedia collaboration with filmmaker/video artist Tara Knight, produced in collaboration with Dreams and Diversions, San Diego Museum of Art's exhibition of Japanese Woodblock Prints, premiering next season.
