  • Westwind75, These laws have been valid since before you were born, unless you are more than 102 years old. They are from BERLIN 1906. I PMed you multiple links to international radio regulations. If you are truly interested read up on it, take the test and get your license. What China is doing is ILLEGAL. IF the USA did it would you have the same opinion? I think not. FIREDRAKE IT WRONG! STOP THE CHINESE OPPRESSION OF FREE SPEECH!

  • BARNEY, If you are not a ham (CW/DXer)? you most likely don't understand what all this means. That's nothing against you. What the Chinese gov't is doing with Firedrake is ILLEGAL.

  • @westwind75

    it's not on air 24/7

  • @Dusty696969

this is one of the best shortwave receivers ever !

    it's a Degen DE1103

  • @calcvids ah yeah, i've been listening to it a bit recently and was able to hear a bit of falun gong programming for a split second but it's hard to understand anything

  • @urbex2007 It IS a jammer. I have an Extra license. I've been a SWL for years. I probably know more about HF utility/jammers than you. It also is on 12600 kHz. That's not allocated to broadcast Neither is 10300 or 14700. It's jamming a broadcast. Also, a ham radio license doesn't mean you're a utility station expert. It just means you acknowledge the existence of HF.

  • @TheCintron Some people used the satellite link to make a CD (1 hr loop) of it. It's (nearly) free. See SatDirectory's page on Firedrake.

  • @GMSamuelRhine I am not sure. It's too powerful to detect a broadcast underneath, and most things it jams move to a different frequency.

  • @calcvids he obviously knows nothing about chinese censorship or the firedrake

  • Sounds like an rock/opera going on.

  • in this video is it currently jamming anything?
