The Shooting Sports Group of 2006

When you say "4-H" most people automatically think "animals". While yes there are animal projects there are other areas in 4-H that make up over 200 projects!!! Here is a little bit of information about the Shooting Sports area in 4-H. Shooting Sports is one of the fastest growing areas in 4-H! Enjoy.

Yes We do shotgun. We don't mention it as much in this video but in future videos it will be more focused on

Sometimes 4-H does offer special camps that are more focused on Shooting Sports than other areas. Those are really fun camps if you like to shoot.

We go to Spring Valley Shooting Range in Greene County, OH every other Thursday. We haven't attended any camps yet. My son is taking an archery project. He may take muzzle loaders next year.

As a 4-H parent, I have been so impressed with the Shooting Sports programs. The instructors are wonderful with the kids and safety rules are taught and followed. What a great opportunity for our kids!
