I'm fairly certain they don't control the media, because if they truly did, we wouldn't have garbage for news.
And as far as the school systems are concerned, I think the ruin isthe result of a combination of A). Liberal political correctness run amok and B). Conservatives who are perfectly happy with a dumbed down U.S. public.
