Nightwish was better with Tarja.... Her voice carried far away and fulfilled the melody... anette's voice is too sharp.

@IgorValar too bad for you that you enjoy nightwish less now. imo anette has more emotion in her singing by far, so i enhoy her singing just as much, but in a diffrent way. i dont't think their singing can be compared to eachother

@TheVrominator there's always singers that are better then others. of course an awesome singer like tarja is better then most singers. of course, tarja is also older and more experienced. when charlotte did the last album with delain, she was only 18:P. no matter who is better, there will always be many many people that just like another sound of voice. for example, i think floor jansen is better then tarja, but i dont think anyone should compare lets say tarja and sharon den adel, too diffrent

Never cared for Nightwish. I love woman-fronted metal bands, but I'm tired as hell of almost every one of them being a damn Lord of the Rings tribute band. The whole fantasy thing in metal is overdone and ridiculous. Not only is Charlotte's voice a million times better and more relevant than Tarja's ever was, Delain is so much more accessible. It's bands like Delain who open the mainstream doors for others. And I agree that metal is about the music, but a hot lead singer is awesome...

@tearsoftherainmaker it's called symphonic. and if you don't like it then yes, you'll probably think all symphonic pieces sound the same, but that doesn't mean they are:P. so it's not realy fair toc all them all LotR tribute bands;)

dude metal is about the music not the way the female vocalist looks on the stage..its about the sound and this band sounds amazing not about something as material as the way she looks when she hits a note thats a fucking stupid comment kid...theres many un attractive vocalists and the bands arent any worst because of its its about the Passion they can display to you...not an Image...

It would be worse if some idiot mention Justin-Whatever-the-idiot's-na­me-is, or Lady Gaga's name in here when It DOESN'T belong. God, this is worst than the Rin/Len Synchroncity song's and Within Temptation's Howling song's comments. I think majority of the people hear are grown ups, so act your age, for crist sakes!! @tearsoftherainmaker i dont even think nightwish is a LOTR tribute bands i always thought they had a nordic feel to them. LOTR is kinda full on fantasy. nordic legends are partial truth etc so :P

OH MY GOSH!!!! For pete's sake people, I came to watch Delain and I look at the comments and all I see is that stupid fight about Anette vs. Tarja. Look, if you want to argue about this do it on some blog or something. I'm soo tired of seeing that same argument everywhere! PLEASE just stop it! If you have a comment not relating to Nightwish and everything to do with Delain, I personally welcome you.
