There's a little update to make:

the camera will record in RAW (in a DPX wrapper). So, it's not a 444 RGB log yet. So, on the film, at 2:00, if we keep the 10bit example, you should have a 250MB/sec bandwidth not 750MB/sec.

K = kilobytes of information, correct? So a single frame from one of these cameras would be 5,000 bytes of info. Is that right?

Actually, K = kilopixels: a 4K frame is 4096 pixels by 2160 lines (and 2K is 2048 pixels by 1080 lines).

To calculate the weight of a 10bit 4K RAW frame : 4096 pixels * 2160 lines * 10 bit / 8 (to get Bytes) / 1024 (to get KBytes) / 1024 (to get MBytes) = 10.55MegaBytes

@24fps, it's a 253.13MB per sec flow

and with an RGB 444 log, it's a gigantic 759.38MB per sec flow.
