Totally Rad (NES) :: Retro Review

This is my second retro review for danielprimed.com Matty Jay and I have been working hard to iron out some of the problems with the first review.

Although there are still a few other issues that we are yet to iron out. I think that we have made a large improvement over the previous review.

The overall ridiculousness of the game killed it for me, as well as some kinda poor platforming mechanics and the overall impression it gave me. Your review makes me wish I had the instruction manual to my copy still though, as I found a PDF file of it online and Oh. My. God. That thing is comedic gold for riffing on. It's just retarded. xD

Anyways, I know this is an older video of yours, but I felt compelled to reply since I just put my own up and had a varying opinion. Have a good one.

Hey there, I actually just uploaded my own review of this game and saw yours in my side bar and decided to take a look. I honestly felt very different about the game overall, mainly because as a kid I had the hardest time even getting past the ugly purple eye tumor, which apparently has a name that I don't care enough to know. xD I replayed it before doing the review just to show my friend one weird game, and beat it in about 34 minutes.

I guess it's not HORRIBLE, I just don't like it too much.

Man, what a Stiff Review. I'm not expecting the AVGN but there's no Charisma in your expressions what so ever! Totally Stoical! And the Music in this deserves more than a Joke that was obviously written into the Script, & completely mis-represented with your constrant & usual flat Mode of Speech. These Games took HOURS & HOURS to program the MOD. Files for to get the Music to that Standard.. Often we had to slow down or speed up sounds, juggle with Polyphony restrictions, etc. No appreciation.
