what a waste of time. first =pleas be respectful to all the former great civilizations of this planet [like the old persian empire ]. second= in usa's history ,lots of nations have hoped to destroy/conquer it = england,germany,austria/hungar­y,italy,japan,russia,cuba,kore­a,china,viet nam,iraq. add to that all the countries that have hated the usa [which was practically the whole world when george bush was president].if u forbade ALL these ethnic festvals/parades--thered be none at all.

What the hell is "Atash dancers" from George Washington University doing? Is that supposed to be Persian dancing? It looks more like rehab gymnastics! They're not even wearing foklore clothes - it just looks weird and out of place! This whole parade is out of place, with Islam-bashing fringe groups like Derafsh and mostly a lot of people just walking amidst a chaotic atmoshphere waving flags! The only good thing were the Armenian dance group! Come on - get your act together or just quit!
