Rush Emotion Detector Guitar Solo Cover

I have been infatuated with the solo to this song for such a long time and after studying Snowdoguk's version as well as others, I have given it a go.

I remember years ago when I first began getting into the more technical mid 80's Rush music, I used to listen to this solo in complete awe. I would rewind back to the beginning of the solo several times, going over each note, and I used to think to myself: "who does that?"

only Alex, of course.

Yamaha Pacifica 612v
Vox Tonelab ST
some decent EQ'ing for that much sought after "Alex tone".

I had as much of a blast learning to play it, as I did looking for the "right" tone and recording it as well. Thanks to SnowDogUK for his awesome, inspirational take. Hope you enjoy.
