@timeforrupert1 - yes, i'm all good now. It was a bit rocky towards the end, but i'm free now... :-)

I think Lexapro actually made my anxiety worse. I'm so happy that i took the step and would never go on any anti depressant again.

Im 17..and have been on lexapro for just over a year now (40mg).

And i start to taper off it in a few days..Personally i cant wait to be off the stuff! I wont be sorry to get rid of the weight that ive gained while on it...and the sweating!

...but Im just a tad bit worried about the side effects of tapering off..

How are you going now? i noticed that this video was posted in january.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch before you start to come off. Please try and do it as slow as possible! It worked wonders for me, and I'm still going. Am down to 5mg now every second day... Yay me!!

So far still nothing remarkable, maybe a little more tired than usual, but if that's all, bring it on!!! :-)

Hey Daniella, I was on 20mg for about 5 years, i stepped down to 10mg about 4 months ago, then 5mg after about a month, then 5mg every other day for two months, recently I've just been taking 5mg every third day.

As of today I haven't taken any lexapro in 4 days and I'm dizzy, feeling reclusive, social anxiety, and just want this process to be over! Lol, I'll let you know how it goes, my insurance kicked me off so this is mandatory, I'm tired of paying those rates anyway.

I'm sure I will be getting there and i'm freaking out already. Well, I hope we both will be better off without Lexapro. Good luck and let me know how you are going.

@vidmanx0 My psychiatrist was very admanent that I would need to be on Lexapro for 2+ years but 30mg/day = $70/month. Ouch. I think he was getting a kick-back. So glad that I'm off it and still feel good.

I was on 30mg of Lexapro for 5 months and I went off it cold turkey. Two days later, I woke up feeling very weird and was having strange dreams. I took one 20mg tablet in the middle of the night and that was it. I didn't have any more side effects and now I feel great. The Lexapro served its purpose - I was able to overcome the fears that were causing severe social phobia and now that I'm off it, the fears haven't returned.

As a guy, it's great to have libido again!

Well, I came here to here about Lexapro, but I liked the video for your presentation more. Nice color, frame, face, glasses, and charming foreign (german?) accent. Glad you could get off of the Lexapro with no problem. I took it for a while and it helped me, but like too much coffee, I had to take a while off. Hope your life is as beautiful as you!

im sorry but if im gona have to take a pill everyyyyday and then crashin when you try to come off it..its gona be something good like xanax..least i no it helped me and made me feel good
